Care Instructions
Rules of (green) thumb:
Bright, indirect light is best for most species.
Keep plants away from direct hot sun, AC/heat vents, fireplaces, and drafty doors.
Do not overwater. If you’re unsure, text us first.
Watering (most rentals won’t need any):
Stick a finger 1–2 inches into the soil.
If it feels moist, don’t water.
If it feels dry, slowly add a small amount of water.
Important: Don’t let plants sit in standing water inside decorative pots.
Handling:
Avoid moving plants once they have been placed by our team
If plants must be moved, lift from the pot/base, not the trunk or leaves.
Move gently and avoid constantly relocating plants.
Please do not:
To prevent damage and stress:
No repotting, pruning, or fertilizing.
No leaf shine/oils/sprays.
No pesticides.
Do not move plants outdoors unless we recommend moving them.
If something looks off:
Things happen - let us know ASAP so we can help.
Send us a photo and details about where the plant is placed, any recent changes, etc. We are happy to suggest simple adjustments and can come by for maintenance or to replace a struggling plant.
