Care Instructions
We handle delivery, placement, and maintenance. While your plants are with you, this is the short list that keeps them happy.
Our plants arrive healthy and already settled into their pots, so there is very little for you to do. Read this once and you are set.
Rules of (green) thumb
- Bright, indirect light is best for most species.
- Keep plants away from direct hot sun, AC and heat vents, fireplaces, and drafty doors.
- Do not overwater. If you're unsure, text us first.
Watering
Most rentals won't need any.
- Stick a finger 1–2 inches into the soil.
- If it feels moist, don't water.
- If it feels dry, slowly add a small amount of water.
Important: Don't let plants sit in standing water inside decorative pots.
Handling
- Avoid moving plants once they have been placed by our team.
- If plants must be moved, lift from the pot or base, not the trunk or leaves.
- Move gently and avoid constantly relocating plants.
Please do not
To prevent damage and stress:
- No repotting, pruning, or fertilizing.
- No leaf shine, oils, or sprays.
- No pesticides.
- Do not move plants outdoors unless we recommend it.
If something looks off
Things happen, let us know ASAP so we can help.
Send us a photo and details about where the plant is placed, any recent changes, and anything else you noticed. We are happy to suggest simple adjustments, and we can come by for maintenance or to replace a struggling plant.
